BSc.N Class of 2015 students taking the Nurses’ Pledge.
More than 115 BSc.N Class of 2015 students were formally inducted into the noble nursing profession after taking the Nurses’ Pledge on Monday.
The graduands, who are expected to graduate on 4th December, 2015 took the Pledge, led by College of Health Sciences, School of Nursing Sciences Director, Prof. Grace Omoni.
During the event, the future nurses lit candles and recited the Pledge, modified from the Florence Nightgale Pledge.
The jovial students pledged to uphold the profession’s code of ethics and faithfully carry out their duties in accordance with the regulations and expectations of the profession.
The students take the pledge upon the completion of their course to make them understand their duties and responsibilities as nursing professionals.
Prof. Omoni congratulated the students and wished them well in their career life.
