BSc.N Class of 2016 students Take the Nurses’ Pledge

The BSc.N Class of 2016 students were formally inducted into the noble nursing profession after taking the Nurses’ Pledge on 1st December 2016.

The Students, who are expected to graduate on 2nd December, 2016 took the Pledge, led by College of Health Sciences, School of Nursing Sciences Director, MRS. WAGORO MIRIAM CAROLE ATIENO


The oath was administered by MR JOSEPH MIREREH from the Ministry of Health Department of Nursing Services.


During the event, the future nurses lit candles and recited the Pledge, modified from the Florence Nightgale Pledge.

The jovial students pledged to uphold the profession’s code of ethics and faithfully carry out their duties in accordance with the regulations and expectations of the profession.


The students take the pledge upon the completion of their course to make them understand their duties and responsibilities as nursing professionals.

MR JOSEPH MIREREH congratulated the students and wished them well in their career life.
