Columbia School of Nursing commenced the first Global Practicum Program in Kenya and partnered with Columbia Global Centers | Nairobi (CGC | Nairobi), the School of Nursing - University of Nairobi and Kenyatta National Hospital (KNH) to enable students to learn more about real-world experiences and scenarios that enable them to be better prepared to provide accurate and independent diagnoses. CGC | Nairobi caught up with students and learned more about their experiences at KNH, why they chose to undertake their practicum in Kenya, and the lessons they would take from their practicum practice at KNH.
