The Invited guest mentors included:

Sostine Makunja

Currently is a Global Senior Impact and Learning Advisor for Save the Children UK, and a Director of Health System Strengthening, Research, Monitoring & Evaluation, at M & E Advisory Group, Kenya. Previously, he has worked as a Research, Health System Strengthening, Monitoring, and Evaluation Consultant on development and humanitarian programs in various countries with the International Rescue Committee, United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), Malteser International, Johanniter International Assistance (JUH), Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF), Oxfam International, Concern Worldwide, Kenya Red Cross Society, M4ID (Finland), United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) and AMREF. Holds Master of Public Health (Epidemiology & Population Health) from Maseno University and Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Nairobi.

 

Wanyaga Mwaniki

Is a nurse practitioner in Machakos County, a master's student at the University of Nairobi and the current treasurer Kenya National Union of Nurses, Machakos County.

She delights in being a global award winner of the 2016 International Nurses day.

Wanyaga is  very passionate about community health care with a key interest in maternal and child wellness.

She is  passionate about CHAMAs and financial empowerment. Founder of CHAMA Champions, a platform that offers mentorship on financial matters and how to grow CHAMAs to greater heights.

 

Angeline Wambanda - Mukabi

Angeline Wambanda – Mukabi is a  Public Health/ Monitoring & Evaluation Expert currently working as the Regional M&E Officer, International Organization for Migration, Regional Office for Asia and the Pacific.

Dr. Boniface Oyugi

Dr Oyugi is a health economist and health policy expert. He works as a health policy consultant at the WHO African Regional Office in Brazzaville, Congo. He is a two-time Commonwealth Scholar and read: BScN (UoN), MSc Health Policy Planning and Financing (London School of Economics/ London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine), and PhD Social Policy/ Health Economics (University of Kent). He has been a researcher in healthcare for over ten years at the national and international levels. His professional work advances Sustainable Development Goals on maternal and neonatal care, UHC, and Health Security. He is a mentor who believes in inspiring the next generation to look beyond the horizon and think positively about life (for what is life without hope?). He is also a hobby photographer and a fitness enthusiast.
