Rashid Salim, an alumnus of the School of Nursing has been admitted to a mentorship program at the International Council of Nurses (ICN) in Geneva.
Rashid made his submission to be a member of the ICN Nursing Student Steering Group and was selected as a successful candidate.
He will work together with other members to strengthen the nursing student influence in the work of ICN in global health and nursing policy.
The Steering Group membership will consist of a maximum of six members with one member from each WHO area (future ICN areas).
Rashid served as the Chairman of Nairobi University Nursing Student’s Association (NUNSA) in 2018 and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2019.
