Rehabilitative Care skills training for Nursing, Orthopedic technology, Occupational therapy and Physiotherapy students

A collaborative venture between School of Nursing sciences (UON), Kenya Medical training College (KMTC-Nairobi) and Grand Forest Japan Medical Centre (Fortis Suites,Nairobi)The aim is to build capacity through skills strengthening on the best practices in management of patients with different forms of injuries and secondary disabilities that affect patients’ performance of activities of daily living (ADL).

The topics include; patient’s mobility, dysphagia, spinal cord injuries among others.Application of the skills in patient care would support effective evaluation of patient’s recovery Process. It will effectively inform necessary supportive interventions by the clinical staff to promote patients’ recovery.
