Free community health camp

The Department of Nursing Sciences in partnership with the University Health Services (UHS),
conducted a free Community Health Camp Targeting University of Nairobi staff and students on 19th May, 2022..
The objective was in line with the University’s Community and Social responsibility
The specific services/ activities offered/ carried out include;
1) Screening for diabetes and hypertension
2) Covid 19 vaccination
3) Screening for weight and Obesity
4) Breast and Cervical cancer screening
5) Sensitization on Substance misuse and self-harm
6) HIV/AIDS Counselling and Testing
7) Deworming of Susceptible clients
8) Nutritional counselling
9) Screening and Referral of Clients for further medical care
